Mac Lavier

Mac Lavier has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mac is currently serving as the President & CEO at Gear Up Sports, a company they co-founded in 2009. Gear Up Sports aims to simplify the management of youth sports organizations, primarily focusing on uniforms and apparel. Mac Lavier's role as President & CEO involves overseeing the company's operations and strategic direction.

In addition to their work at Gear Up Sports, Mac Lavier is an Investor at Oregon Venture Fund, starting from 2020. Prior to these roles, they held various positions at Radisys Corporation. Notably, they served as the VP & GM of Embedded Products & HW Services from 2015 to 2017. Mac also worked as the Vice President of Global Operations & Corporate Quality from 2013 to 2014, Director of Corporate Quality and Customer Excellence from 2012 to 2013, and Director of Operations Strategic Management System & Corporate Continuous Improvement from 2010 to 2013.

Before joining Radisys Corporation, Mac Lavier worked at Tektronix as a Sr. Manager for over 14 years, from 1996 to 2010.

Mac Lavier obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman. This educational journey took place from 1991 to 1996. Later, Mac pursued further education at the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business from 2007 to 2009, completing an Executive MBA through the North America program.
