Albert Schandl

Albert Schandl is a seasoned professional in sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management, currently serving as the Global Sustainability and ESG Manager at Gebauer & Griller since January 2024. Prior to this role, Albert was a Consultant at CIRA Advisory s.r.o. from February 2021 to January 2024, where expertise was applied across various sectors including energy, insurance, and manufacturing, focusing on ESG reporting, circular economy transition, and EU Taxonomy alignment. Notably, Albert co-founded Waste NO, a startup aimed at pioneering reusable packaging solutions in Europe, and contributed as a Sustainability Mentor at Climate-KIC. With a strong academic background in Materials Science, including dual Master's degrees from Aalto University and Grenoble INP - Phelma, and a Bachelor's degree from Rhine-Waal University, Albert has demonstrated a commitment to advancing sustainable practices and educating peers on innovation within the circular economy.
