Verena Schaffer

Verena Schaffer has a diverse work experience. Verena began their career in 2005 as a Trainee Human Resources at Adecco Österreich and later became a Filialleiter there. In 2006, they joined Otis GmbH as a Human Resources Specialist. From 2007 to 2014, they held various roles at Otis GmbH, including Human Resources Generalist and Director Human Resources Central Europe Group. During this time, they were responsible for HR in 10 countries, was a member of the Management team, and implemented company-wide HR strategies. From 2014 to 2015, they took a break for Karenz. In 2015, they joined Otis Elevator Co. as Director Compensation & Benefits for the North, East, Central Europe & Africa region. In 2018, they joined Gebauer & Griller as Head of HR Business Partners and later became the Head of HR Global Headquarters in October of 2020.

Verena Schaffer attended WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained a Magistra degree in Verhaltenswissenschaftlich orientiertes Management, Handel & Marketing.
