Michiel Willi

Michiel Willi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and project management. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Production & Technology at Geberit since November 2014, Michiel has led initiatives in metal processing and assembly, overseeing a workforce of 350 FTEs while focusing on modernization and automation. Previously, Michiel held the position of Head of Production in sanitary ceramics, achieving a consistent 7% annual productivity increase through organizational restructuring. With a background in project management that includes relocating production from Germany to Poland and integrating business units into logistics hubs, Michiel's early career featured roles in civil service and support projects in South Sudan. Educational accomplishments include an M.Sc. in Management, Technology & Economics and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich, complemented by a PMP Certification obtained in 2015.
