Troy Demmer is the current Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer at Gecko Robotics. Prior to their current position, Demmer worked as Sr. FA, Strategic Planning at UPMC from June 2011 to May 2015. In their role at UPMC, Demmer was responsible for developing programs with UPMC provider networks to organically grow service offerings in areas like oncology and cardiac services. This resulted in many more patients receiving quality care. Additionally, Demmer assisted with two different $100M+ acquisitions from start to finish, including deal origination, financial modeling, due diligence, deal structure with legal counsel, and post acquisition integration with acquired boards and management teams.

Before their role at UPMC, Demmer worked as an Associate in FP&A at the company from June 2010 to August 2010. In this role, Demmer was responsible for developing analytical tools to project cash flow, operating results, and other key financing metrics that contributed to the development of the company’s $10+ billion budget. Additionally, Demmer created a staffing analytic to help restructure over 1,000 business staff across several divisions.

Troy Demmer holds a Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance/Economics from Grove City College.
