Maxim Glagolev

Maxim Glagolev has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2011, they worked at SmartSnow as the COO, where they managed and controlled the company with 350+ employees across Russia, achieving a 20% YoY profit increase and a 15% YoY market share increase. Maxim also served as the Head of Department at SmartSnow, overseeing the company's branch with 50+ employees and achieving an average profit increase of 35% YoY. In 2015, Maxim worked as a Consultant & Research Scientist at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Head of the Project at Gazprom StroyTEK Salavat. Maxim then joined Itorum MR in 2018 as a Senior Business Development Manager, focusing on the business development of an Augmented Reality (AR) startup. In 2019, Maxim became a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow at Syracuse University's Maxwell School, participating in the Executive Leadership Program in the field of International Leadership and Technology Management. Maxim co-founded Geeklama Coding School and LGDeal in 2020, acting as a Co-Founder in both companies. In 2020, they also joined Yandex.Taxi as the Head of Justice League for the Driver Retention Team. In 2022, Maxim joined Yandex, holding the positions of Chief Business Development Officer at Practicum and later becoming the Head of Strategic Projects. Currently, they are the Head of Active Growth Markets at Yango since February 2023.

Maxim Glagolev's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled at Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University), where they earned their BSc and MSc degrees in Energy Systems, District Heating, and Thermal Engineering. During their time at the institute, they also completed an additional MSc degree in Business/Managerial Economics. From 2014 to 2018, Glagolev attended the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, where they obtained an M.Phil. diploma in Energy Management and Systems Technology/Technician. In 2017 and 2018, they furthered their education at Stanford University, participating in the Stanford U.S. - Russia Forum (SURF) program with a focus on Energy Geopolitics. Most recently, in 2019 and 2020, Glagolev pursued a Certificate of Advanced Studies (Post-Graduate Degree) in International Leadership at Syracuse University - Maxwell School. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Business Case Structuring from Fless in January 2020.
