International Marketing & Communications VP at Geek+

Marie Peterson has extensive work experience in marketing, communications, and public relations. Marie is currently serving as the International Marketing & Communications VP at Geek+ since September 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of International Marketing & Communications Director at the same company from January 2020 until September 2021. Before joining Geek+, Marie worked as the Global Public Relations Director at Geek+ from July 2019 to January 2020.

Marie's previous experience includes working as a Senior Consultant Strategic Communications at FTI Consulting, where they provided advice on international reputational issues and developed PR strategies for Chinese companies and international organizations. Marie joined FTI Consulting in 2016 and stayed until 2018.

Before joining FTI Consulting, Marie worked as a PR and Marketing Manager at China Rendez-Vous. In this role, they were responsible for PR and marketing activities, including strategy development, media relations, and client relations. Marie managed a 5-person team during their tenure, which lasted from 2015 to 2016.

Marie's earlier experience includes working as a Consultant Strategic Communications at FTI Consulting from 2012 to 2015 and serving as a Media and Communications Service Intern at the Embassy of France in the United States from August 2009 to January 2010.

Marie Peterson started their education at Lycée Louis-le-Grand from 2001 to 2004, where they completed their Baccalauréat in the scientific field. Marie then attended Lycées Lakanal et Fénélon, Paris from 2005 to 2007, studying Hypokhagne and Khagne (Lettres Modernes, Histoire). In 2007, they briefly studied at École normale supérieure de Lyon and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History. Marie Peterson continued their education at Sciences Po from 2008 to 2011, obtaining their Master of International Affairs (MIA) from the Paris School of International Affairs, specializing in International Relations and Security Studies.
