Simon Houghton

Simon Houghton has extensive experience in sales and business development across various industries.

Starting in 1989, they worked as an Area Sales Manager at Sangers until 1994.

Simon then joined Nokia UK as a Key Accounts Manager from 1993 to 1995, followed by a role as a National Accounts Manager at Sony Recording Media UK from 1995 to 1998.

From 2000 to 2014, Simon was the Managing Director at Millenium Media Distribution, where they specialized in developing IT data storage, peripherals, and CE brands across the UK and Europe.

In 2015, they took on the role of Business Development Manager at CCL Logistics and Supply Chain Services before transitioning to become the Head of Business Development at EAF Supply Chain, a leading distributor of IT spare parts in Europe.

Simon then worked as a Technical Sales Manager at Mecalux Warehouse Solutions from 2017 to 2018, where they were responsible for selling metal racking, automated warehouses, and other storage solutions.

In 2018, they joined Dematic as a Sales Manager, responsible for selling integrated automated technology, software, and services, before moving on to become the Head of Sales and Marketing UK&I from 2021 to 2023.

Simon'smost recent role is the Director of Sales - UK & I and Middle East at Geek+ since 2023.

Simon Houghton attended Helsby High School from 1980 to 1986, where they received 7 O Levels. Following their high school education, they pursued further studies at Hartford, Mid Cheshire from 1986 to 1989. During this time, they obtained an HND in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
