Jeffrey Metius

Jeffrey Metius, Jr. has extensive experience in geospatial support and GIS technologies. Currently serving as the Branch of Geospatial Support Team Lead at Managed Business Solutions since October 2016, Metius has also been a Quiz Master for Geeks Who Drink since January 2015. Previously, Metius held multiple roles at Valdez International Corporation from September 2010 to October 2016 including GIS/GPS Specialist, where responsibilities included creating a Power Geodatabase and implementing a geometric network for the Colorado River Agency. As a GIS Trainer, Metius developed a comprehensive curriculum covering key geographic information systems concepts. Additional experience includes working as an Assistant Geoscientist at Tetra Tech EC, Inc. and as a Sales Associate at Walmart. Metius earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Fort Lewis College between 2002 and 2006.
