Jonpaul Guinn has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Jonpaul began their career in the US Army as a Patriot Missile System Operator, serving from 1992 to 1996. After that, they worked in various positions at the Radisson Hotel and Suites from 1998 to 2001, including Assistant Accountant and Guest Service Representative/Night Auditor.

In 2002, Jonpaul returned to the US Army as a Patriot Missile Launching Station Section Chief until 2005. Jonpaul then transitioned to the role of Recruiter and later became a Recruiting Station Commander, serving until 2011.

Moving on from the military, Jonpaul joined Linear Title & Closing as a Title and Escrow Closing Specialist from 2012 to 2013. Jonpaul then worked as a Substitute Teacher at Paul Cuffee Charter School from 2013 to 2016.

In 2014, Jonpaul started working at the Wild Colonial Tavern as a Bartender and Pub Quiz Writer and Host, a role they held until 2016. Jonpaul also joined Geeks Who Drink in 2014, where they took on various positions, including Director of Recruiting (from 2022 onwards), Quizmaster/Emcee/Writer, Recruiting and Training Team Leader, Associate Editor/Communications Manager/Head Writer of Small Batch by Geeks Who Drink, Senior Staff Writer/Communications Manager, Senior Staff Writer, and Staffing Manager (Gulf Coast and Midwest)/Staff Writer.

With a passion for trivia, Jonpaul worked as the Head of Trivia at Water Cooler Trivia since 2021. Jonpaul also briefly served as a Staffing Manager at The Trivia Factory, LLC in 2018 before joining Geeks Who Drink.

Jonpaul Guinn attended Troy University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in General Education. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Troy University.
