Ian Walker

Ian Walker is an experienced quality manager and manufacturing engineer with a diverse background in the automotive powertrain sector. Currently holding the role of Quality Manager for Automotive Powertrain since August 2020, and serving as Quality Manager for Powertrain New Programs and Machining Expert at GEELY since August 2018, Ian Walker specializes in machining and quality methods, including SPC, problem-solving, and quality auditing. Previously, Ian Walker spent over three decades at Ford Motor Company in various senior manufacturing engineering roles, overseeing significant projects such as the retooling and commissioning of machining facilities for engine components. Ian Walker holds a Master’s Degree in Quality Management from City, University of London, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Surrey.
