Dr. Christina Befanis, OTD, OTR/L, LSVT BIG, Trauma Informed RYT, serves as the OT Wellness Program Manager at Geer Village Senior Community, where responsibilities include directing and providing outpatient services. Additionally, Dr. Befanis is an Occupational Therapist at Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Litchfield County, focusing on home care for adult clients, and operates BALANCE WELLNESS THERAPY: OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS, PLLC, which delivers pediatric occupational therapy. Previous experience includes roles at Genesis as an Occupational Therapist and mentor, along with various leadership positions in rehabilitation services at Sun Healthcare Group, Pope John Paul Nursing Home, and The Lutheran Care Center. Dr. Befanis holds a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo.
