Douglas Soares

Douglas Soares has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Douglas began their career in 1998 as an Administrative Store Leader at Grupo Pão de Açúcar, where they supervised the cash-front and administrative area. Over the years, they gained expertise in finance and accounting roles, starting as a Fiscal Analyst at Hamburg Sud, where they were responsible for assessing indirect taxes. Douglas then joined Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as a Senior Fiscal Analyst, where they worked on tax assessment and revision. At Arvato Digital Services, they served as an Accounting Supervisor, overseeing reconciliations and obtaining a clean bill of operation for independent auditors. Later, they joined AB Enzymes as a Regional Controller AMERICAS, managing the financial area in Brazil and the USA. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Finance at Gefran Brazil, a leading company in the market of sensors and components for industrial automation.

Douglas Soares completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA), specializing in Business Management, from FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração, from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they graduated with a degree in Accounting from Universidade Ibirapuera, where they attended from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Certified Accountant from CRC in January 2007.
