Alastair Kennedy has had a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alastair began their career at Global Energy Group in 2007, holding various directorial roles such as Communications Director and Stakeholder Relations Director. In 2011, they took on the role of Executive Chairman at Nigg Skills Academy, a not-for-profit company focused on training individuals in fabrication, pipework, and welding for the energy industry. Additionally, Kennedy has been a Director at Ross County Football Club since 1994 and continues to oversee corporate hospitality for the club while also holding a non-executive position since joining Global Energy Group.

Alastair Kennedy attended Edinburgh Napier University from 1992 to 1994, where they earned a diploma in marketing. Alastair also completed a marketing diploma at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing from 1993 to 1994.
