Barry MacKellaich is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in technical support and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Service Desk Response at Global Energy Group since April 2021, Barry provides second-line support for over 100 users at the company's Inverness headquarters and acts as a SharePoint administrator for Orion's intranet site, Nebula. Previously, Barry worked as an IT Systems Engineer at Orion Group from August 2006 to April 2021, focusing on user support and system administration. Earlier career roles include Web Designer at Alaris, where responsibilities involved maintaining and designing multiple trading websites, and Technical Support at Capgemini, providing first-line desktop support. Barry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing & IT Practice from The Open University and a degree in Business Administration from Inverness College.
