Graham Cowperthwaite has extensive work experience in the energy sector. Graham served as the Chief Operating Officer at Global Energy Group from 2013 to the present, overseeing various business units and ensuring safety operations and financial performance. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President - Marine and Logistics at the same company from 2013 to 2022, where they focused on operational best practices and risk reduction controls. Before their time at Global Energy Group, Cowperthwaite worked at Ferguson Group Limited, first as COO/Divisional CEO/Group Director/Group Executive Director from 2011 to 2013, overseeing manufacturing and operations, and later as a Consultant Business and Development Project Executive from 2009 to 2010, focusing on business development and establishing company structures. Graham also served as Director at KCA Deutag from 1973 to 2010, where they were responsible for the operation of a fleet of land drilling and workover rigs and led integration efforts after company acquisitions. Additionally, Cowperthwaite worked as Group Managing Director at OIS International Inspection plc from 1998 to 2003, managing and developing the inspection and integrity management business.
