Ehsan Samei

Ehsan Samei is a distinguished expert in medical physics, currently serving as the Reed and Martha Rice Distinguished Professor at Duke University since February 2000, with a progression from Assistant Professor to Professor. Alongside academic roles, Ehsan Samei holds key positions as Director of the Duke Center for Virtual Imaging Trials and the Carl E. Ravin Advanced Imaging Laboratories since April 2021, and as Chief Scientific Advisor for Imalogix since May 2023. In addition, Ehsan Samei contributes to advisory boards for GE HealthCare and Siemens Healthineers. Ehsan Samei is also the founder of Metis Health Analytics, LLC, focusing on safety and quality metrics in medical imaging. Ehsan Samei's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Nuclear Science, Medical Imaging and Physics, and multiple master's degrees in Radiological Engineering and Medical Physics from the University of Michigan and Georgia Institute of Technology.
