Simon Sochas

Senior Strategist at Gehl Architects

Simon brings expertise in the fields of public consultation, community-based programming, as well as real estate development. Passionate about the political structuring forces that shape and distort our cities, he seeks to create just urban environments where people are actively granted equitable opportunities. Prior to joining Gehl, Simon led community engagement efforts on social housing regeneration projects across London and helped launch an urban innovation agency in Paris, where he aligned private sector-led development visions with context-sensitive expectations and needs. He holds a BSc in Geography from King’s College London and an MSc in Sustainable Urbanism from the Bartlett School of Planning (UCL).
