Gehmit is a non-profit organization dedicated to informing, educating, and guiding students aiming to specialize in various fields of computer science. We offer tailored assistance to anyone motivated and passionate about transitioning careers into the ICT field, with a strong emphasis on acquiring practical skills and experience.

Why Gehmit?
Computer science, since its inception in the 1960s, has continued to expand, creating numerous job opportunities. However, in African contexts, particularly in less technologically advanced countries, young individuals aspiring to careers in this field might not be aware of the full scope of ICT job opportunities. Well-known disciplines such as application development, web design, network administration, and cybersecurity represent just the tip of the iceberg.

With the rise of telecommuting, we see this time as an exceptional opportunity to delve deeper into other equally exciting and lucrative careers in the computer science sector. Furthermore, we actively explore the prospects offered by artificial intelligence, recognizing this revolutionary technology as opening new doors for innovative and rewarding careers, while also encouraging the acquisition of practical skills and real-world experience.
