Chander Sharma

Chander Sharma has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Chander currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Gehr Industries since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Oldcastle Infrastructure as the Director of Sales and Business Development from August 2020 to November 2021, where they focused on standardizing and implementing sales processes to grow the business.

Before Oldcastle, Chander worked at Hilti North America, starting in 2016. Chander held the position of Regional Sales Manager, Civil, Energy & Industry in the Northwest USA from June 2018 to August 2020, and during their tenure, they successfully increased sales and improved employee engagement. Chander also worked as a Strategic Business Development Manager for Hilti North America from April 2016 to June 2018, where they developed and executed sales and marketing strategies.

Chander's previous experiences include working at Hilti France as a Project Lead in Finance for a brief period in 2016 and at Hilti USA as a Project Manager in Technical Marketing from April 2015 to December 2015. Chander also worked as a Field Engineer (Sales) at Hilti USA from April 2014 to March 2015, where they played a key role in developing the company's business in the oil and gas industry.

Before joining Hilti, Chander gained entrepreneurial experience as the owner of BCA Construction Ltd. from March 2011 to March 2013, where they managed the day-to-day operations and various construction projects.

Chander started their career at General Motors as a Production Supervisor from July 2010 to March 2011 and at CAMI Automotive Inc as a Production Engineer from May 2008 to August 2009.

Chander Sharma pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, from 2006 to 2010. Later, in 2013, they enrolled in the Ivey Business School at Western University to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).
