Mike Hawthorne, PG, is a seasoned geoscientist with extensive experience in environmental management and remediation. Since November 2014, Mike has served as Senior Vice President, Principal, and Subject Matter Expert at GEI Consultants, Inc., where leadership includes roles as Rocky Mountain Area Manager and company-wide Oil & Gas Growth Leader. Mike has also contributed as the Chairman of the Review Board for the Applied NAPL Science Review from 2011 to November 2023, overseeing publication processes and strategic journal development. Previous positions include Owner and Principal Geoscientist at H2A Environmental, Ltd., Regional Manager at KEI Consultants, Ltd., and Environmental Specialist at Texaco, among others. Mike holds an M.S. in Geology from Baylor University and a Postgraduate degree in Hydrogeology from Wright State University.
