Derek Davis

Derek Davis currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Casualty Claims at GEICO, a position held since July 2016, leading a team of 5 director-level staff and 1,600 associates across a three-office region, while overseeing claims handling across nine Midwestern U.S. states. Previously, as Liability Claims Director, Derek managed 600 associates in the Dallas office, significantly improving customer service satisfaction and achieving substantial subrogation recoveries. Derek's experience includes various managerial roles at GEICO, starting as an Emerging Leader in 2005, and also includes a stint as Planning Manager for GEICO BoatU.S., where initial reporting structures and employee training programs were established. Derek holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Sociology from the University of Virginia.
