Jill Rice

Jill (Estes) Rice has a diverse work history in government relations, public policy, and education. They began their career as a teacher at Las Lomas High School from 2000 to 2004 and have held various roles, including Deputy General Counsel at the California Department of Education (2008-2011) and Director of West Coast Government & External Relations at Educational Testing Service (2016-2022). Currently, they serve as Managing Counsel at GEICO, after positions such as Principal Consultant for the California State Senate (2022-2024) and Consultant for the California State Assembly, Committee on Education (2013-2015). Jill holds a B.S. in Economics and Politics from Willamette University, a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, and a Teaching Credential from Notre Dame de Namur University.
