Brian Simpkins is the Director of Pharmacy for the Western and North-Central Region at Geisinger Health System, a position held since 2019. Previously, they served as a Clinical Unit-Based Pharmacist at UPMC from 2005 to 2010, where they developed various clinical practices and educated pharmacy staff and medical professionals. They have also worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at CVS/Caremark Specialty Pharmacy and an Acute Care Clinical Pharmacist at Geisinger. Additionally, Brian was an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine from 2011 to 2015. Brian earned a Pharm. D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in 2004.
