Jason Mitchell

Jason W. Mitchell, M.D., currently serves as the executive vice president and chief medical officer at Geisinger Health, leading initiatives to enhance the quality and safety of healthcare delivery. Previously, they held senior leadership roles at Presbyterian Healthcare Services, where they were responsible for the physician clinical enterprise and led efforts in quality, safety, and population health management. Dr. Mitchell received their Doctor of Medicine from the University of New Mexico, where they also completed their residency and served as an assistant professor of family medicine. They are board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine, Clinical Informatics, and continue to practice as a family physician.
