Kirk Shaffer is an experienced Cloud Architect currently working at Geisinger since June 2021, having previously held the position of Technical Account Manager at VMware from October 2018 to June 2021. Kirk's earlier experience includes serving as a Lead Systems Engineer at Geisinger Health System from August 2010 to October 2018 and as a Network Administrator at both Mid Penn Bank and Professional Building Systems INC. Kirk has a strong background in leading the technical direction for IaaS private and public cloud environments, successfully managing a significant number of virtual machines and applications while focusing on cost reduction, agility, automation, stability, and security.
