Max Pell

Max Pell is a board-certified Pain Management Physician and Anesthesiologist at Geisinger, specializing in perioperative and chronic pain management. They completed their residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and have served as a Captain in the United States Air Force, where they received the Air Medal for their role in combat missions. Max has held roles as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at both Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and Penn State College of Medicine, contributing to academic and clinical innovation in pain management. Prior to their current positions, they gained extensive experience in anesthesiology, chronic pain management, and flight surgery.
