Eduard Giménez

Eduard Giménez has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and design fields. Eduard is currently working as a Lead UX Designer at Gelato. Prior to that, they served as a Lead Product Designer at Smart Protection and held roles such as Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) at the same company. Eduard was also the Head of Product Design and Technology at Trive, where they led the product design and tech teams and successfully launched a motorbike marketplace. Eduard also has experience as a Co-Founder of Product Madrid, where they built a community focused on building better digital products. Eduard co-founded and served as CTO/CPO of Emtrics, where they led the design and development of Emtrics/Keweno, a Customer Experience Management service used in numerous venues globally. Eduard also worked as a Senior Product Manager at Clarity, a company focused on optimizing the social impact of investment portfolios. Additionally, Eduard has worked as a freelance Digital Product and Service Designer and as a Senior Backend Engineer at Tuenti. Eduard began their career as a Systems Engineer at CAPSiDE and held a Projects Scholarship Holder position at the Department of Computer Architecture, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Eduard Giménez has a diverse education history. Eduard attended Universitat Oberta de Catalunya from 2020 to 2022, where they obtained a degree in MRes Multimedia Applications with a focus on Human Computer Interaction. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Digital Product Design at LA NAVE NODRIZA in 2016. Eduard also attended LA NAVE NODRIZA in 2015 for a Product Design Workshop. In addition to their design education, Eduard holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the British Council, which they obtained in 2008. Eduard completed a course on "Preparing a Project: Business Plans and In-company Projects" at Esade in 2007. Eduard's academic journey began at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they obtained a BSc in Computer Science (Systems engineering) from 2002 to 2007. Eduard completed their secondary education at Casp, earning a High School Diploma in Technology from 1990 to 2002. Eduard has also obtained additional certifications, including "Design Kit: The Course for Human-Centered Design" from NovoEd in 2016 and "Human-Centered Design: an Introduction" from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2015.
