Huseyin Akturk

Huseyin Akturk has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Huseyin began their career in 2012 as a Public and Media Relations Manager and Advisor for the Belgian Economic Mission to the Republic of TR. Huseyin later worked as a Public and Media Relations Advisor for the Embassy of Luxembourg in Ankara, where they managed public and media relations and provided media consultancy services for state visits. Huseyin also served as a Training Coordinator for the Press For Freedom Project at the Journalists Association, organizing seminars and coordinating training camps.

Huseyin then joined Anadolu Vakfı as a Business Development Expert, assisting and mentoring women in finance and business development. Huseyin also worked as a Training Coordinator for the Young Social Entrepreneurs Project, organizing seminars and training programs on social entrepreneurship.

In 2014, Huseyin joined Particip GmbH as a Senior Expert in Technical Support for the implementation and management of ENI CBC programs. Huseyin'sresponsibilities included delivering training sessions, organizing events, and contributing to publicity efforts.

In 2018, they founded Gelbasla.com, a career services portal that offers human resources services to international organizations, NGOs, and consultancy companies.

Huseyin has also worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Expert for the EU-Turkey Coops to Coast Project, ensuring the collection and analysis of high-quality data to verify project objectives. Huseyin has held similar roles in other projects, such as TO BE COOP-Territorial Organizations Boosting EU-Turkish COOPeratives.

Most recently, in 2021, Huseyin served as an SNK Training Expert for the Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini, delivering trainings and providing support for the NEET PRO program.

Huseyin Akturk began their education in 2000 at Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA, where they pursued an International Baccalaureate degree with a focus on Mathematics, Economics, and English A2 Higher Level. Huseyin continued their studies at Colby College from 2003 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies, Economics, and Administrative Sciences. In 2005, Huseyin also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Cape Town, focusing on Conflict in World Politics, Third World Politics, and Racism and Genocide. Most recently, Huseyin pursued a Master of Science degree in Management and Organizational Behaviour at Hacettepe University, completing their studies in 2019.
