Ugur Balci

Ugur Balci is an experienced professional in information security and consulting, currently serving as a Consultant in Information Security, CISO, and DGA at iCyclus B.V. since January 2023. Balci also holds the role of CISO Coach for Gemeente Leudal and CISO for both Gemeente Laarbeek and Gemeente Gemert-Bakel, as well as acting as CISO and Privacy Officer for Gelders Archief. Prior experience includes positions as Business Consultant at Inergy and Consultant roles at SafeHarbour. Balci has served as Chief Information Security Officer at multiple municipalities including Gemeente Medemblik, Gemeente Giessenlanden, and gemeente Heemstede, often through BMC Implementatie. Educated at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and trained in Project Management with a Prince 2 certification, Balci possesses a strong academic background complemented by extensive practical experience in the field.
