Cosimo Saponaro

Cosimo Saponaro has had extensive work experience in the field of manufacturing and operations. Cosimo started their career as an R&D Technician at Sorin Biomedica in 1993 and worked there until 1995. Cosimo then joined Biomateriali Srl and held the position of Process Improvement Manager from 1995 to 2000. Cosimo was then promoted to Site Operations Manager and held that position from 2000 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Biomateriali - LeMaitre Vascular as the General Manager and worked there until 2011. In 2012, they joined Gelesis as the General Manager SVP Manufacturing and General Manager Operations, and their role there continues to the present.
