Simon Herkert began their work experience in 2008 with an apprenticeship as an Industrial Clerk at GELITA. Simon then moved on to various roles within the company, including Procurement & Projects, Financial Accountant, and Manager Corporate Development (interim). Throughout their time at GELITA, Simon held positions such as Referent des CFO/Assistant Management Board and Head of Accounting & Controlling GELITA USA, where they were involved in a wide range of responsibilities such as corporate development, strategy, governance, and international management meetings. Additionally, Simon worked as a Lecturer at carriere & more, private Akademie Region Stuttgart GmbH from 2017 to 2019.

Simon Herkert completed their Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Hochschule Heilbronn - Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Informatik in 2022. Simon started their educational journey with an apprenticeship as an Industriekaufmann IHK / Industrial Clerk (CCI) from GELITA/Theodor-Frey-Schule Eberbach in 2011. Most recently, Simon is enhancing their cross-cultural management skills with a focus on Chinese Language at SinaLingua Cross-Cultural Management.
