Simon Kopf

Simon Kopf is an experienced purchasing and procurement professional with a solid background in technical equipment and projects. Currently serving as the Purchasing Manager Technical Equipment Americas and Global Lead Buyer Technical Equipment & Projects at GELITA since September 2021, Simon previously held the position of Regional Category Buyer Indirects at BASF from July 2019 to August 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Technical Buyer for IT and Medical Equipment at Universitätsmedizin Mannheim from September 2015 to June 2019, and a decade-long tenure at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies as a Technical Buyer. Simon's educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, completed in 2009, and an earlier academic year at Johann-Philipp-Reis-Schule Weinheim. Additionally, a sabbatical was taken in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore in 2015.
