Gem State Staffing was founded in 2000 by Tom & Lee Ann Welstad. The first branch opened in Idaho Falls in early 2001. Gem State Staffing became an instant success because of the dedication to quality customer service and experienced staff.   The business model was simple:  provide quality staffing and customer service at a competitive rate.   With an unprecedented success rate in the first year of operations Gem State Staffing expanded into the Twin Falls,  Boise, Nampa, Burley,  Pocatello, and Rexburg.
