Doug Hrvoic is a geophysicist and engineer specializing in geomagnetism. They have been President and Technology Director at Marine Magnetics since 1998, where the company designs and manufactures geomagnetic field sensors that operate by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance for oil and resource exploration, geophysical science, archaeology, and defense. Since 2024, they have been President of GEM Systems Inc. They earned a Master of Science in Geophysics from McMaster University (2012–2013) and hold a BASc in Engineering from the University of Toronto; they previously attended Upper Canada College as a high school student.
