Carolyn Corley, PMP has a diverse work experience in project controls and engineering roles. Carolyn currently works as a Project Controls Scheduler at GEM Technologies, Inc. since 2023. Carolyn also served as a Project Controls Analyst at Oak Ridge National Laboratory's High Flux Isotope Reactor from 2009 to 2017, where they developed planning tools and tracked reactor data.

Furthermore, Carolyn worked as a Project Administrator at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from 2008 to 2009 and as a Technical Editing Consultant at 4D Medical Systems Inc. in 2009. Prior to that, they held positions at the University of Tennessee as a Program Resource Specialist from 2006 to 2007 and as an Editorial Assistant from 2006 to 2007. In these roles, they contributed to editing, content management, and providing information about academic and professional programs.

Carolyn Corley, PMP, obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a focus on Technical Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2006. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2012. Carolyn also obtained certifications in Engineering Management from the American Society for Engineering Management in March 2011 and as an Actor/Combatant from the Society of American Fight Directors in October 2015. In recent years, Carolyn has pursued several professional development courses on LinkedIn, including certifications in Articulating Your Value, Dealing with Microaggression as an Employee, Difficult Conversations: Talking about Race at Work, Leading Inclusive Teams, and Unconscious Bias.
