Ewan-James Thomas

Ewan-James Thomas is a software engineer with experience in delivering AWS solutions at Gemba Advantage since May 2023. Previously, from September 2021 to May 2023, Ewan-James contributed to BT by developing high-performance code in an Agile environment with extensive use of Python, Git, and various other technologies. Ewan-James has also served as a tutor for A-level and GCSE Maths and Physics at MyTutor.co.uk, nurturing the next generation of scientists. Additional roles include an internship at Bright Network, where Ewan-James planned the implementation of facial recognition technology, and a project management position at NORDAM addressing materials optimization. Ewan-James began the career journey as a pathology laboratory assistant at the NHS, responsible for handling blood sample cataloguing. Ewan-James holds a Master of Physics with Honours from the University of Exeter, completed in 2021.
