Kim Reid

Kim Reid has worked in various roles in the software engineering field. In 2014, they worked as a Software Test Engineer at Spaarks. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Part-Time Lecturer at New College Lanarkshire, where they produced teaching resources and occasionally taught units outside their expertise. From 2016 to 2021, Kim worked at Northrop Grumman, starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to Senior and Lead Software Engineer roles. In 2021, they joined Gemba Advantage as a Senior Engineer and later became a Principal Software Engineer.

Kim Reid completed a BEng (Hons) Software Engineering degree in Computer Software Engineering at Edinburgh Napier University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, Kim attended Motherwell College from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a HND in Software Development. In terms of additional certifications, Kim obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2021. They also obtained a Microsoft Office Specialist Masters certification from Microsoft in 2013.
