Simon Kudernatsch has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2011, they volunteered at UConn Health Center. In 2012, they worked as an R&D Intern at Covidien and simultaneously served as a Graduate Assistant at The University of Connecticut Health Center's Biodynamics Laboratory. In 2014, they became a Student Volunteer Manager at the Biomedical Engineering Society and later assumed the position of STEM Innovation Laboratory Coordinator at Texas A&M University-Texarkana. In 2015, they worked briefly as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University. From 2017 to present, they held positions at Northern Illinois University as a Visiting Research Assistant and currently as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Gembah as a Design Engineer Expert - Hard Goods Product Development.
Simon Kudernatsch began their education in 2008 at the University of Hartford, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering. Simon attended the university for four years, completing their undergraduate studies in 2012. Following their bachelor's degree, Simon then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Connecticut. Simon attended the University of Connecticut from 2012 to 2014, completing their master's degree in that time. Subsequently, Simon continued their education by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University from 2015 to 2021.
