Gaj Wallooppillai Obe

Gaj Wallooppillai OBE is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership and political advisory roles. Currently serving as Head of Middle East and Group Head of Strategy at Gemcorp Capital since October 2022, Gaj previously held multiple key positions within The Conservative Party, including Chief of Staff to the Chairman and International Secretary. Gaj's public service includes serving as a Councillor and Deputy Leader for the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. Past roles also include Director positions at GW Insights and Moneybomb, along with internships in parliamentary offices. Gaj holds a Master of Science in Contemporary India from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Loughborough University.
