Liedewij Wiersma

Liedewij Wiersma has extensive experience in project and program management within various municipalities in the Netherlands. Currently serving as a Programmamanager and Trouwambtenaar at Gemeente Asten since June 2016, Liedewij oversees the execution of the Programma Transitie Omgevingswet. Prior experience includes Projectmanager roles at Gemeente Veghel and Gemeente Asten, where responsibilities encompassed project leadership in area development and social domains, as well as coaching colleagues. Earlier positions include project leadership and policy advising at Gemeente Aalsmeer and advisory roles for housing corporations at Quintis bv. Liedewij holds a diploma in Sociale Geografie from Utrecht University and an Atheneum diploma from Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest.
