Han Kuiper

Han Kuiper serves as the Waarnemend CISO for Gemeente Beuningen and the CISO for Gemeente Berg en Dal, with a long-standing advisory role at Quarant BV focusing on Omgevingswet, CISO responsibilities, and data protection. Since July 2020, Han has been part of the Ministerie van Defensie, working as a Procesmodelleur to enhance work processes related to the Omgevingswet. Additionally, Han provides AVG support to various governmental and organizational entities, acts as an Informatiemanager for municipalities, and has contributed to educational efforts at Avans+ in the Bachelor Omgevingskunde program. Previous roles include advising on the implementation of the Omgevingswet in multiple municipalities and coordinating practical trials for the Digitaal Stelsel Omgevingswet. Han's educational background includes a postdoc in environmental science from the University of Amsterdam and a law degree from the University of Groningen.
