Erik Warns

Erik Warns is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in municipal policy advising, currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor for Environment at Gemeente Beverwijk since August 2004. Warns has specialized in energy transition and municipal water management, achieving significant savings and optimizing solutions in collaboration with water authorities. Previous roles include serving as Chair of the Works Council and leading as Chair at LPMM, while also contributing as a knowledge coach for water sector collaboration through Stichting RIONED. Erik Warns began their career at Gemeente Zandvoort, focusing on road and sewage policy. Erik holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Inholland University of Applied Sciences and completed a course in Process Management in 2008.
