Geert de Blende

Geert De Blende is an accomplished financial director with over two decades of experience in public sector finance management. Currently serving as Financieel Directeur at Gemeente Brasschaat since September 2011, Geert has held various roles including financieel beheerder for both the gemeente and OCMW Brasschaat. Prior experience includes positions such as Adjunct Coördinator Financiën at Stad Antwerpen from January 2003 to September 2011 and cost accountant at Blondé Communication from June 1997 to 2002. Geert holds a Diplôme en Etudes Européennes from Université catholique de Louvain and a degree in Handelsingenieur with a focus on International Business from KU Leuven.
