Doeke Huitema

Doeke Huitema is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in public sector financial management. Currently serving as a Senior Financial Controller at Gemeente Den Haag since July 1998, Doeke Huitema has held various senior roles within the organization, including Senior adviseur Procesmanagement and Controleleider Gemeentelijke Accountantsdienst. Prior experience includes positions as an Assistent accountant at both the Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschap and the Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport. Doeke Huitema holds a degree from HEAO Leeuwarden and is certified as a Lean expert with a Green belt from Lean Consultancy Group, completed in 2015.
