Karin Hannink

Karin Hannink has extensive experience in strategic advising and communication within municipal government. Currently serving as a Raadsadviseur at Gemeente Dijk en Waard since January 2022, Karin supports council members in their representative, decisive, and oversight roles. Karin has been with gemeente Heerhugowaard since 2001, initially as a communication coordinator and now as a strategic advisor, focusing on various transformative projects including active citizenship and lean management. Previous roles include communication advisor at gemeente Waterland, where foundational skills in communications were developed, and PR Functionaris at CBR, emphasizing both internal and external communication. Educationally, Karin holds a master's degree in Cultural Studies from the University of Amsterdam, alongside other qualifications in art history and French language studies.
