Jinko Rots

Jinko Rots has extensive experience in policy and project management, particularly in the context of gas extraction and earthquake-related issues in the Groningen region. Currently serving as a Beleidsregisseur for the Programma Aardbevingen de Baas at Gemeente Eemsdelta since January 2021, Jinko previously held roles including Coördinator at Onafhankelijke Raadsman, where an ombudsman function was provided for residents with complaints related to gas extraction from 2013 to 2022. Additionally, Jinko worked at Gemeente Loppersum in various capacities, culminating as a Sr. Beleidsadviseur Gaswinning, and gained earlier experience at Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland and as a teaching assistant at the University of Groningen. Jinko holds multiple degrees from the University of Groningen, including an MSc in Regional Studies, alongside a BA in History and a BSc in Social Geography & Planning.
