Derk Alblas

Derk Alblas is a seasoned legal advisor specializing in administrative law, currently serving as a Senior Juridisch Adviseur and Senior Jurist Bezwaar en Beroep at Daan since November 2024. Concurrently, Derk holds the position of Jurist Bezwaar en Beroep at Gemeente Goeree-Overflakkee, providing legal advice and representing the municipality in legal procedures. Derk also acts as the Deputy Chair of the General Appeals Committee in Rotterdam, advising on public order and safety matters. In addition to these roles, Derk has been a dedicated lecturer in Environmental Law at Hogeschool Inholland, imparting knowledge to second-year HBO Law students. Previous experience includes significant roles at Flexwise, Servicegemeente Dordrecht, Maandag®, and various municipalities, with a focus on administrative law and legal procedures. Derk holds a Master of Laws in State and Administrative Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam and has an extensive educational background in Dutch law.
