Ben Berends

Ben Berends is an experienced project manager specializing in integral project management (IPM) within municipal environments. Currently serving as a project manager at Gemeente Gooise Meren since January 2016, Ben is responsible for the execution and oversight of various infrastructure projects, including significant initiatives such as the renovation of the Prinses Beatrixbrug and the construction of a warmtenet. Previously, Ben held roles as a project leader and civil engineering advisor at Gemeente Bussum and Gemeente Naarden, managing numerous infrastructure projects and ensuring successful project outcomes. Ben holds a degree from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences and is furthering expertise in Lean Six Sigma with ongoing studies at UNC Plus Delta.
