Gerben van der Pijl

Gerben van der Pijl is a mobility policy advisor currently working at Gemeente Gooise Meren since November 2021. Previously, Gerben gained experience as a research intern at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water, contributing to the Integrale Mobiliteitsanalyse 2021, and as a mobility graduate intern at Gemeente Arnhem. Gerben served as chairman of the Faculteitsvereniging Ibn Battuta from June 2015 to June 2016, overseeing operations for an association with approximately 800 members. Gerben holds a Master’s degree in Spatial Planning, Urban and Regional Mobility from Radboud University and a Bachelor’s degree in Spatial Planning & Design from the University of Groningen.
